Post-Easter Post (hee!)

I wish I'd seen this and could have posted it yesterday since it's so appropriate for Easter. This is one of my favorite hymns. We sang it at my father's funeral. It speaks to my heart on several levels. And while I'm not exactly Carrie Eyeshadow's biggest fan, I love that she sang this with such enthusiasm. And I especially love all the people nodding and smiling in the audience. That's right, it's good stuff.

That song is powerful.

I have never been able to sing this without crying.

I've watched this twice now and cried both times. Wow.

For my own personal reasons, I've never enjoyed this hymn. But this version is beautiful.

Okay, this is too weird. I saw your comment on another blog and what caught my attention was that you use the same picture of Grace Kelly that I do. Then when I got to your blog, I saw that you had posted this amazing video of Carrie Underwood. I posted this on my blog this morning. lol
