For the love of Cee Lo Green

I first heard of Cee Lo Green from my good friend Jorge Garcia. Okay, so Jorge Garcia isn't really my friend - but isn't that basically how you feel about someone when you read their blog for a long time? Like you know them, somehow? (Your answer: "Umm...maybe if you're an insane stalker....") I have never even commented on Jorge's blog. But I've been following him since his days on Lost, and I think he's an all around awesome guy. So, I refer to him as "my good friend Jorge Garcia" even though he has no idea I exist. I'm really getting side tracked. Back to Cee Lo Green. Jorge posted the video to that song on his blog, and I basically saw the title of the song was F*ck You, and since that was decidedly NSFW, I passed on checking it out. Then a month or so later, I heard the cleaned up version on the radio.

Here's the video with the cleaned up version of the song. Of course, you can still tell what he's saying. Much like when you're watching Sunday Night Football and the coach gets angry at his team. Oh, you might not actually hear what he's yelling at the team...but it's quite obvious what he's saying. Anyway, here's the song:

And here is the beyond awesome clip of William Shatner singing it on Lopez Tonight. Is there anything cooler than William Shatner? I think not.

And for all you GOOP fans out there, you will be pleased to know Ms. Gwyneth Paltrow will be performing this song on Glee. I wonder what pathetic excuse for a storyline they'll come up with to tie that song into the show. Just have to wait and see!

So, are you say I shouldn't have deleted Glee from my DVR?

And how are you coping with the news that your boyfriend, Bret, was cheating with Miley's mom? Seems a little lower class than what he usually goes for.

You would think that almost dying would help him make better choices.

It makes me happy when I hear the "Eff You" version on the radio rather than the watered down "Forget You".

I am reserving judgement on Gwynnie until I hear it. Gotta admit though, she does have a decent singing voice. Remember when she would host SNL and reminisce with Maya Rudolph about how they would have sleep overs and sing songs together? Good times.

Ah, William Shatner. I met him once. He's short.
