Time Keeps on Slippin'

Yo. It's been a month since I last posted. A MONTH. And my last post wasn't really even a post. It was just a picture I saw on another site. Sad.

But, such is summertime, no? It hasn't changed a bit since we were kids. June rolls around, and the summer stretches out before you, rich with possibilities. So many plans. So many opportunities. It's like you don't even know where to begin! And there's no need to rush into anything - why, there are THREE MONTHS of summer ahead!

...and then before you know it, it's September and school is starting again. The only thing you really have to show for summer is a healthy disdain for the winner of America's Got Talent. (Come on. Michael Grimm was the dark horse in that race for sure.)

I've had ideas for different blog posts. I've seen fun things here and there that I wanted to share. For example, this Vanity Fair cover featuring La Lohan:

Notice that the tag line reads that she's LITERALLY falling apart. Oooh, literally? Did she pick up leprosy in jail or something? That would make an interesting story and photo shoot!

Anyway, I'm sorry that I haven't posted much, and that I haven't been visiting other blogs much lately, either. I'm sure that will change over the coming weeks as summer comes to a close, and we embrace the magic of Fall. It's my very favorite season. I love the cooler weather. I love preparing for the holidays. I love the time change, and gaining an extra hour of sleep. I love that pumpkin scones are back at Starbucks. I love that Glee premieres tonight. I love that Halloween is just around the corner. So much to love about this time of year!

I'm really surprised that Lindsay would use "literally" wrong. She is such a smart girl.

I love change. Any change. The only thing consistent about life sometimes IS the change. So this time of year is great for that.
And it's nice to step away from something unnecessary like blogging. Makes it that much better when you get back.

Don't so much care about Glee as I am delighted to welcome back Sue Sylvester.

Oktoberfest is LITERALLY one week away! I can almost taste the fried food and kettle corn.

Boo on last night's Glee though. Beiste was the only high point. I hope they make up for it with next week's awesome looking Britney Spears episode. My head might literally explode.

another thing about that cover - it is not really the most flattering. Few people can pull off the 20's bob well.

The misuse of "literally" strikes again. Drives me crazy. (But not literally crazy.)

I love misuses of "literally!" They make me happy/crazy.

Glad you're back. Don't be a stranger!

Sadly, I did not love Glee last night...Thoughts?
