So, we were at my son's soccer game on Saturday, and I had this exchange with my mom:
Mom: Sorry I'm late. How's he doing so far?
Me: Well, he started out as a defender, but then they put him in as goalie. He's having a great game so far.
Mom: What's the score?
Me: Two to Two.
Mom: Us or them?
Me: Did you honestly just ask me that?

Your mom rocks!! My son is still mostly on defense. I guess having not played since he was 5, the are afraid to put him in a more serious position ;-)
