Ah, those boy crazy days when I was 15. Jerrod was this guy that I obsessed over for a long time. I practically stalked him. He tried to tell me he wasn't interested, but you know how it is when you're 15 and stupid - you can't take a hint, and every. single. thing. a guy says to you is a hint that he IS, in fact, interested. Oh, 15 year old Nikol! So much to learn.
Jude was my friend's brother. I barely knew him. I don't know why I even wrote that he was "in the picture" at all. I don't think he actually knew my name until we were in our 20's. He was definitely NOT a potential date. I remember there's an entry I wrote where I talk about how I didn't really know him - I just liked his name. No doubt I had a whole slew of "Hey Jude" jokes ready and waiting. That's how 15 year old me operated.

This makes me feel better about myself.
Here's why Jude is in the picture. Because when your 15 EVERY male around your age is in the picture.
I love the "if they went too far one of them would get hurt!"
I had totally forgotten the phrase "going too far" ;and its relationship to sex. SInce now, "going too far" means more like WAY over spending/eating.
So if you asked me now "did you go all the way?"
My response would be "yes. I went all the way to the target downtown because my neighborhood target was out of nutella"
I dearly hope you'll continue posting these entries. If you don't, I'll die.
Ah, Jude. Jude was in the picture because we ALL had crushes on Jude. Those Santee boys were hard to resist. Remember Dennis Springer? He was like the Marky Mark of San Diego and we all to do bad things with him. Bad things, like makeout in the church cultural hall.
Oh my god so funny! I could never go back and look at any of my old diaries! So embarrassing.
I don't know why the name Carlos Schmidt made me laugh more than anything else from this page!
I think just about every page of my high school journal looks pretty much like this. Well, except for my serial killer handwriting.
I couldn't agree with Kristina's comment anymore. You are doing us all a public service here.
oh my gosh, that is hilarious! Sounds exactly like me at 15. It reminds me of the movie, He's Just Not That Into You. So funny how our teenage minds work.
I also wanted to thank you for your comments on my blog. Loved the "toenails are overrated" sign. So funny!
